St. Boniface Archdiocese

Outreach to

Sagkeeng First Nation Food Bank

As you are aware, there has been an exponential increase in need at food banks. For that reason, Sagkeeng First Nation Food Bank has difficulty meeting the needs of its people. In wanting to help our brothers and sisters in Sagkeeng, the St. Boniface Archdiocese has asked each Deanery in Winnipeg to have a drop-off area. Christ The King Parish has answered the call for South Urban English Deanery.

For a list of the most wanted items please see below.

The drop-off days are Tuesday & Wednesday mornings from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon
at Christ the King Church parking lot entrance.
There will be a table outside the parking lot entrance with available boxes
for dropping off food on those two mornings only.

Please remember:

  • to keep your social distance when others are present

  •  to remain in your cars until it is your turn to unload

Volunteers from the CTK parish will bring the food inside.

Thank you for supporting this outreach
and answering the call of being people of joy,
sharing the good news of God's love with others.
