We Prepare for Reconciliation – students in grade 2 prepare and receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation. This program focuses on introducing children to a Christian way of life. It emphasizes the central place of Jesus in their lives and invites them into a prayerful relationship with God. It also emphasizes the virtues of love, joy, peace and forgiveness which pave the way for the Sacrament of Reconciliation.
We Share in the Eucharist: students in grade 2 prepare for and receive First Eucharist. This program focuses on First Eucharist but it also introduces children to a Christian way of life and prayer. It emphasizes the central place of Jesus as he is experienced at Sunday liturgy and invites children to become intimately acquainted with Jesus and with the Mass itself. It also emphasizes the concepts of thanksgiving, forgiveness, praise remembering, and sacrifice, which pave the way for the Sacrament. The final theme offers immediate preparation for First Communion.
Alive in the Spirit – students in Grade 5 prepare for the Sacrament of Confirmation. This program invites candidates to grow increasingly attuned to the call God made to them since the day of their baptism. It also invites them to come to the sacrament asking for divine help when they answer the baptismal call to live their lives at the table of the Lord and to be Christ in the world
